2003 Selection

Reconstruction turns romantic drama inside out, laying bare the emotions in a explosion of images. It follows Alex, a photographer, and beautiful Aimee, who meet by chance and fall in love in the course of one intense day. Their feelings for each other are put to the test as the world about them becomes more and more alien in a labyrinthine Copenhagen. They stake their existence and find themselves in free fall, with Alex facing the question of how far he is willing to go and how much he is ready to give up for his dreams of true love.
