Christoffer Boe

Christoffer Boe (1974) gratuated in direction from the National Film School of Denmark following film studies at Copenhagen University, He aroused at­ tention with his trilogy of short films, Obsession, Virginity, and Anxiety. The third film won him the Prix Découverte de la Critique Fran­ aise at the Rencontres Internationales Henri Langlois de Poitiers, and was screened in Critics' Week, Cannes 2002. Reconstruction is Christoffer Boe's first feature. "He has a peculiar world within him. He is absorbed by grand emotion and tiny gesture; he uses the language of cinema to raise his film into another dimension. 29-year-old Christoffer Boe has been described as the most original Danish director in visual terms since Lars von Trier".
