Christoffer Boe
Christoffer Boe (1974) gratuated in direction from the National Film School of Denmark following film studies at Copenhagen University, He aroused at tention with his trilogy of short films, Obsession, Virginity, and Anxiety. The third film won him the Prix Découverte de la Critique Fran aise at the Rencontres Internationales Henri Langlois de Poitiers, and was screened in Critics' Week, Cannes 2002. Reconstruction is Christoffer Boe's first feature. "He has a peculiar world within him. He is absorbed by grand emotion and tiny gesture; he uses the language of cinema to raise his film into another dimension. 29-year-old Christoffer Boe has been described as the most original Danish director in visual terms since Lars von Trier".
