Delphine Malausséna

A trained violinist and a graduate in quantum physics and the ENS Louis Lumière film school, Delphine worked as a sound engineer on feature films and series for ten years before fully dedicating herself to music composition. 

In 2021, she composed the soundtrack for Quentin Reynaud’s Final Set and Jacqueline Lentzou’s Moon 66 questions, which competed at the Encounters selection of the 2021 Berlin IFF. 

This year, she composed the music for Jean-Baptiste Durand’s feature Chien de la casse and Quentin Reynaud’s En plein feu, and co-signed the soundtrack for Alexandre Abaturov’s Paradise, which competed at the 2022 IDFA international competition. 

Her music draws from enclosing electronic sounds and sound design, and more classical, orchestral compositions. 

Delphine was one of the 2021 Berlinale Talents and competed for the Michel Legrand award for emerging talents.
