Inshallah a boy, the first feature by Jordanian filmmaker Amjad Al Rasheed, had its world premiere at the 62nd Semaine de la Critique. It is the first Jordanian film to be selected at Cannes. Winner of the Prix Fondation Gan à la Diffusion and Rail d'Or for Best Feature Film, the film will be released this Wednesday, March 6.
The film stars Mouna Hawa, Seleena Rababah and Haitham Omari. Inshallah a boy is produced by GEORGES FILMS, THE IMAGINARIUM FILMS and BAYT AL SHAWAREB and distributed by PYRAMIDE.

Synopsis
Jordan, nowadays. After the sudden death of her husband, Nawal, 30s, has to fight for her part of inheritance in order to save her daughter and home in a society where having a son would be a game changer.
