1996 Selection

Serge Perrin is a young provincial who wants to make it in Paris. His dreams of being an actor comes to an abrupt end when he has to face the cruel reality of the big city. Lonely and pennyless, Serge Perrin soon joins the crowd of the homeless people but he is too proud to go back to his family. He's in total dispair when he goes to the police station and confess to a murder he didn't commit. After this lie he can't really control, it's in jail that Serge Perrin has to play his first acting part. Will he be able to live up to the dangerous game he got himself into?
