Yumi Joung

Director Yumi Joung has been creating animation and picture books ever since with her delicate and distinctive pencil drawing technique.
In 2009, her work Dust Kid, an animation, was invited to screen at Cannes’ Directors Fortnight. In 2013, Love Games made its world premiere at Berlinale Shorts and won the Grand Prix at Animafest Zagreb.
Her work has been screened at Berlinale Shorts: Math Test in 2010, and more recently House of Existence in 2022, and Circle in 2024.
