Mexican nationality

Born on June 9, 1968 in Montevideo (Uruguay)

Graduated from the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica, he has written and directed five short films, including Novia mía (awarded at the Bizarritz Film Festival and at the Guadalajara International Film Festival) and Ojo en la nuca (Student Academy Award for foreign language short film and Ariel Award for short film). He also directed two feature films La Zona and Desierto Adentro. The first one received several international awards inclundig the Lion of the future Venice
