Lucía Puenzo
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1976. After studying Literature, cinema and theater, she published three novels El niño pez (Beatrix Viterbo, Tusquets, 2004), 9 minutos (Beatriz Viterbo, Tusquets, 2005) and La maldición de Jacinta Pichimahuida (Interzona, 2007). XXY, her first feature film, received the support of the Cine Fondation, Fond Sud, INCAA and ICAA. She also directed short films, documen-taries and TV miniseries.
