Karin Albou
Born in 1968. After studying acting, dance, Hebrew, French and Arabic literature, Karin Albou enrolled in a film school in Paris. Her first short film, Chut... was awarded the Cinécinéman Best Film prize. After a documentary Mon pays m'a quitté her father's homeland of Algeria was the subject of her second fictionnal short Aïd el Kébir, winner of the Grand Prize at the Clermont-Ferrand Festival. La Petite Jérusalem is her first feature film.
