Jorge Sistos Moreno
Jorge Sistos Moreno was born in Mexico in the region of Michoacán, and studied at New York University. He directed La Oscuridad in the region where he was born, and the film was screened at La Semaine de la Critique 2021 as part of the invitation to Morelia Film Festival. This tale of violence with mystical undertones makes use of the conventions of horror films to present a woman’s revenge.
