Iris Kaltenbäck
Iris Kaltenbäck grew up in France, the daughter of a French mother and an Austrian father, and has an American stepbrother. After reading law and philosophy at university, she got into La Fémis film school in the screenwriting department. In 2013, she was theatre director Declan Donnellan’s assistant at Les Gémeaux, a renowned theatre in the Paris region. In 2015, she directed her first short film, A Visit from the Stork, which won an award at the Brussels International Film Festival. She received the Junior Prize at the Sopadin Awards for her film Still Shot. Le Ravissement is her first feature.
