Ernesto Contreras
Graduate from the Center for Cinematographic Studies of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. His short films Sueño polaroïd (1997), Sombras que pasan (1998), Ondas hertzianas (1999), El milagro (2000), Tardes (2000) and Los no invitados (2003) have been screened in festivals around Latin America, United States and Europe and have received several national and international awards. He has been grantee of the National Fund for Culture and Arts, as well as the Rockefeller, Ford and Typa foundations. He participated in the Berlinale Talent Campus 2 and Cine en Construcció 10 in San Sebastiàn. Párpados azules (Blue Eyelids) is his first feature film.
