Anton Bialas was born in 1990 in Paris to a Swedish mother and a German father. His first three films, Behind Our Eyes (2018), At the Entrance of the Night (2020) and The Blackbird Group (2021) are screened in prestigious festivals (Berlinale, Visions du Réel, FID, Brive, ...). His latest film, Manta Ray, is a continuation of these films, portraits of marginal beings who seek the moment where the sense disenchantment that surrounds them can be overthrown.
