Philippe Barrière

After studying philosophy, Philippe Barrière began analyzing screenplays and supporting film projects. He was head of development at Mille et une productions from 2006 to 2009, and has been an independent consultant and trainer since 2010. In 2014, he attended the Torino Film Lab's story editing course and Midpoint's “Training the trainers” program, and has since been working as a consultant for French and European producers. 

He is involved in workshops at the Torino Film Lab (Extended and Script Lab and Comedy Lab), Full Circle Lab Nouvelle Aquitaine-Hessen, CEFPF (development workshop) and Scénaristerie (Héroïnes). He is co-writer of the feature film Made in Bangladesh, by Rubaiyat Hossain, distributed by Pyramide and selected for the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival, and On ira, Enya Baroux's first feature film, release scheduled in 2025.
