Emma Benestan

French-Algerian director Emma Benestan was born in the South of France, and has always been passionate about Camargue bullfighting. An event in which bulls are respected and worshiped. After her critically-acclaimed romantic comedy Fragile, screened in over 70 international festivals, this is her first genre film, Animale, Closing film of the 63rd Semaine de la Critique.
