Romain Allender
Musician, composer, and arranger, Romain Allender’s work spans from scores to electro, pop, and French chanson. Since 2012, he has collaborated with the Oscar-winning composer Alexandre Desplat, assisting him onto around fifty film scores, including works such as Grand Budapest Hotel, Shape of Water, Imitation Game, and Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio. In 2019, he composed the music for The Holy Family, his first feature film, after meeting Louis-Do de Lencquesaing. He also partners with artists like Rone on projects both for stage and visual media. He has also collaborated with Mika, Benjamin Biolay, Zaho de Sagazan or Emily Loizeau, arranging for film, albums, and live performances.
