Pierre Desprats
After studying at Cinésup in Nantes, a quick experience at Jean-Marc Montera’s GRIM Institute (Music Research and Improvisation Group) and training in the sound department of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure Louis Lumière, Pierre Desprats juggles various live projects - under the stage name KARELLE -, compositions for short and feature films and sound creations for theatre performances and national galleries. His work includes the music of several films by Bertrand Mandico (Wild Boys, Ultra Pulp and After Blue (Dirty Paradise)), by Lucie Borleteau (Perfect Nanny), Elie Grappe (Olga, Semaine de la Critique, 2021), Farid Bentoumi (Red Soil), Andrés Ramírez Pulido (La Jauría, Semaine de la Critique Grand Prize 2022).
