The action of El asaltante (The Assailant) takes place in two hours and a half. That means that the film is about that very specific lapse of time in a man's life. The man is about to execute a plan that he was preparing since long time. The camera follows him almost in every one of his actions. The spectator became a privileged witness of this person's most intimate moments of anxiety, desesperation, or the previous seconds thats precedes a life or dead decision.
