Felipe Gálvez
After his film studies, Felipe directed Silencio en la sala in 2009, rewarded at BAFICI, and in 2011, Yo de aquí te estoy mirando screened in Rotterdam. His third short, Rapaz, was selected at the 57th Semaine de la Critique. With this precise, dense and tense film, Felipe throws us in the midst of a news story shot vertically, in the heat of the moment, in the middle of the street. This story is a testimony of the director’s feeling of urgency in denouncing the excesses of our time.
