Elias Belkeddar is a filmmaker and producer at Iconoclast Films. After Todo Se Puede, shot in Mexico (special jury award at the Clermont-Ferrand film festival), he directed A Wedding Day, selected at the 57th Semaine de la Critique (Canal+ Award). In this film, we follow Karim, a French crook who wanders around Algiers dragging his spleen around. Crafting a story that resembles an existential crisis, Elias draws a dainty, delicate and contemplative chronicle whose sensitivity reveals its disturbing depth.
