Born on May 9th, 1976 in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina)

Aida Begic graduated directing at the Sarajevo Academy of Performing Arts. Her graduation film First Death Experience was presented at The Cinefondation Official Selection of the 2001 Cannes Film Festival and won numerous awards at festivals worldwide. In 2003 she wrote and directed her second short film North Went Mad. Aida Begic is now teaching directing at the Sarajevo Academy of Performing Arts and is directing several advertising clip. In 2004, she created MAMAFILM, an independant production company with Elma Tataragic. Snow is her first feature film.
