Cinema has to do (first and foremost) with an actress's aura that a filmmaker comes to uncover and to scrutinise. "A mesmerising strip off, as if at the core of our vertigo lies the very intimate part that the actors unawarely let go of themselves" says Salvatore Lista. This is the film's key issue, with two characters both Lost in Fascination and Lost in Translation, at a time when video games and avatars project what we call aura to countless new directions. At the heart of the film, Solène Rigot's ageless face opens a whole new range of potentialities.
