Ian Barling
Before studying at TISCH in New York, Ian grew up in the neighbouring state of New Jersey, in Atlantic City; the city he chose as the nocturnal and desolate setting of Safe, which competed in the 60th edition of La Semaine de la Critique. In this tragedy confined to the corridors of an empty casino, a father – who works as a security guard – must choose between hiding his son or turning him to the authorities.
