Arnaud Desplechin
Born on October 31st, 1960, in Roubaix, Arnaud Desplechin directed his first medium-length film La Vie des morts in 1991 and was selected at La Semaine de la Critique in Cannes. His first feature film The Sentinel was presented in the Official Competition of the Cannes Film Festival. He then directed several films: Esther Kahn, Playing 'In the Company of Men’, A Christmas Tale, Jimmy P. In February 2016, his film The Golden Days, won the César Award for Best Director.
